Van Lang is an entity that is mythnical at best. Read the article itself, which it describes that little reliable historical information is actually available (it is mentioned as having lasted 2621 years!). The Encyclopædia Britannica described under the "legendary kingdoms" section of Vietnam's history.--207.69.139.137 07:02, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
- Actually I got the info for Van Lang from Briangotts' map of the world in 500 BCE. Though he doesn't include Van Lang in his map of the world in 323 BC, there were some kind of people living there, and until I get more complete info... If you happen to know who lived there, I'd appreciate the info! Thomas Lessman 18:22, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
Please remove this map, or write somewhere there - this is just a joke not a historical fact ! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.128.55.91 (talk) 07:42, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- I have no idea what you are talking about, and until you can show me proof of whatever you are accusing of being a joke, I'll have to believe you are joking... Thomas Lessman (talk) 17:50, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

- You may be confusing the Thracians with the Getae, a tribe that inhabited present-day Romania in the BC era and was said to be related to the Thysagetae and Massagetae, though no conclusive link has been proven. I have no other information available. Thomas Lessman (talk) 22:03, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
- No confuse. They are similary nation but the rulers diferent. Dahhae-sacca-massageta; and thracian-getaes similar nation.

On this map I saw Albania in Asia next to the Caspian Sea. As we all know, Albania's usual place on the map is in the western Balkan peninsula. I tried to look for references mentioning Albania in Asia and couldn't find any. Where did you get the information that there existed an Albanian country in that place at that time? Provide a link if possible, please.

- The article Caucasian Albania would be a good place to start. Many maps from that timeperiod up until the moslem invasions show Caucasian Albania. You can also do a google search and get more results. Hope this helps. Thomas Lessman (talk) 07:50, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
