A photo of Buzz Aldrin taken during the first moon landing surely deserves to be a featured photo, especially one of such high quality and resolution.

- I've read the arguments and counter-arguments with a neutral point of view, but I believe the landings were absolutely real and not hoaxes (see also this site).
